The Little Lamp · about 2 minutes

Sleep timer

In a shop sat a tiny clay lamp. Seeing the big silver lamps, it grew sad: 'I am so small! What good am I?'

On Deepavali day an old woman bought the little lamp. That night rain fell, and a lost child stood crying in the dark.

The little lamp was lit, and its small glow showed the child the way home. That day the lamp understood — however small the light, to someone in the dark it is everything.

Moral of the story

No light is too small to help someone.
